The sidebar on the left takes you everywhere. The menu at the top of it names the section you are in. Click it to change section. Settings sits on its own at the foot of the sidebar, just above your name.

The sections

WhatsApp, Website chat and Integrations are grouped under Configuration in the menu.

Who sees which section

You only see the sections your role can open. A few things to know:
  • A rep sees their own conversations and unassigned ones, not a teammate’s.
  • Reps and managers can look at workflows. Owners and admins build them and switch them on.
  • Everyone can send an approved template. Owners and admins write new ones.
  • Analytics is part of the Growth and Business plans.
  • In Settings, everyone has their own profile and notification settings. Managers can also manage saved replies and their own team. Workspace settings are for owners and admins, and only the owner can change the plan.
See Roles for the full list. Press Cmd+K on a Mac or Ctrl+K on Windows from anywhere, or click the search field. The field is at the top of most screens, and at the top of the sidebar in Conversations. Search finds customers by name or number, words from a message, templates, workflows and pages. Type at least two characters. Use the arrow keys and Enter to open a result. You only get results you are allowed to open.

The menu under your name

Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar.
  • Your account: your name, security and two-factor authentication.
  • Theme: Light, Dark or System.
  • Take a tour: the two-minute tour, on sample data.
  • Setup guide: brings the setup checklist back. Owners and admins only.
  • Help centre: answers to common questions, inside the app.
  • Service status: opens the status page.
  • Sign out.

The bell

The bell lists new messages, payments and chats given to you. It can also list follow-up reminders, expired payment links, Meta’s decisions on templates, failed workflow runs and broadcasts that finished or stopped.
  • A dot on the bell means something is unread.
  • Click a row to go to it. Opening a chat clears what the bell had to say about it.
  • Choose Mark all as read to clear the lot.
  • Choose Turn on desktop notifications to hear about new messages while the tab is in the background.
The bell is at the top of most screens, and at the top of the sidebar in Conversations. See Notifications.
