# Workspace settings

> Your workspace's name, logo, time zone, locations and messaging rules, and where every other setting lives.

<Note>Owners and admins only. Everyone can open their own account settings and saved replies.</Note>

Workspace-wide settings are under **Settings**, **General**. Changes apply to everyone in the workspace.

## General

* **Workspace name.** Shown in the sidebar, on payment pages and in reports.
* **Workspace slug.** A short name used in web addresses. You cannot change it yourself. Email [support@msgcompanion.com](mailto:support@msgcompanion.com) if it needs changing.
* **Plan.** The plan you are on. To change it, see [Manage your plan](/billing/manage-your-plan).
* **Time zone.** Used for schedules, digests and the times shown across Companion.
* **Currency.** Used for catalogue prices, payment links and invoices.
* **Locale.** How numbers, dates and addresses are written.

Choose **Save changes** when you are done.

## Logo

Under **Branding**, choose **Upload logo**. Use a JPEG, PNG or WebP image of up to 5 MB. A square image works best. The logo shows in the sidebar and on email reports, and is saved as soon as you upload it.

## Typed replies on WhatsApp

Under **Messaging**, the **Typed replies on WhatsApp** switch decides whether your team can type a message into a WhatsApp conversation from Companion.

Meta charges for replies sent from Companion once the month's free allowance is used. With the switch off, nobody can type into a WhatsApp chat on the web or in the phone app, so your team replies free from the WhatsApp Business app instead. Templates, payment links, products and other actions still send, and website chat is not affected.

See [What Meta charges](/billing/meta-charges) for when this is worth doing.

## Locations

Locations are places your team can send into a conversation as a map pin, such as a shop or showroom.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Add a location">
    Under **Locations**, enter a name and the address to show under the pin.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Paste a map link">
    Paste a Google Maps link for the place. Companion finds the pin from it.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Save">
    Choose **Save locations**.
  </Step>
</Steps>

See [Products, payments and more](/conversations/products-payments-and-more) for sending a location.
