# Products, payment links and more

> Send products, payment links, forms and locations from a chat, and what each one needs first.

Everything you can send besides a typed message is behind one button. Choose **More actions** (the plus button beside the reply box) to open the list.

## What each action needs

| Action | What it needs first |
| - | - |
| **Send product** | A shop or till connected under **Integrations**, with products Companion can read. |
| **Payment link** | Square connected under **Integrations**. |
| **Send template** | An approved template. This is also how you send a form. |
| **Send location** | A place saved under **Settings**, **General**, **Locations**. |
| **Send photo**, **Send document** | Nothing. See [Replying to customers](/conversations/replying). |

<Note>
  Only **Send template** works once the 24-hour window has shut. The other actions are greyed out until the customer writes again. In a website chat, only **Send photo** is offered.
</Note>

The customer gets the product's photo, name, price and a short description, with a **View product** button that opens its page in your shop. If the product has no public page, it goes as a photo with a caption, or as text when there is no photo. Stock levels are never sent.

If the picker says **No catalogue is connected**, an owner or admin needs to connect your shop. See [Integrations](/integrations/overview).

The link arrives as a WhatsApp message and opens a Square checkout. The money goes to your Square account.

When the customer pays:

* they get a message in the chat confirming the payment
* whoever sent the link gets a notification under the bell and on their phone
* the payment counts towards **Sales through chat** in [Analytics](/analytics/analytics).

To find chats with a link that is still unpaid, filter the list by **Awaiting payment**. See [The Conversations screen](/conversations/inbox).

If no payment provider is connected, the send is refused and you are told to connect Square. See [Payment links](/integrations/payment-links).

## Send a form

A form is a template with a form button. Send it like any other template: choose **More actions**, then **Send template**, and pick the form.

The customer fills it in inside WhatsApp, and their answers appear in the conversation. See [Forms](/templates/forms) and [Form submissions](/templates/form-submissions).

## Send a location

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the list of places">
    Choose **More actions**, then **Send location**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Pick a place and send">
    Choose one of your saved places, then **Send**. It arrives as a pin the customer can open in their maps app.
  </Step>
</Steps>

If no places are saved yet, the dialog says so. An owner or admin adds them under **Settings**, **General**, in the **Locations** section: a name, the address to show under the pin, and a Google Maps link. A workspace can save up to 10 places.

## Bookings

There is no separate booking button in the reply box. If your business takes bookings through a form, send that form with **Send template**.
