# Plans

> What Starter, Growth and Business cost and include, how extra seats and yearly billing work, and what happens at a limit.

Companion has three plans. Prices are in pounds and exclude VAT, which is not currently charged.

A few of these need a word of explanation:

* **Workflows** counts the workflows switched on at the same time. You can keep more than that switched off.
* **Published forms** counts templates with a form that have been sent to Meta.
* **Broadcast reach** is the number of different contacts your broadcasts go to in a calendar month. Messaging the same person twice counts once. See [Reach and results](/broadcasts/reach-and-results).

These prices are for Companion only. Meta bills you separately for some WhatsApp messages. See [What Meta charges](/billing/meta-charges).

## Extra seats

Each person in the workspace uses a seat, and so does each pending email invitation. When you need more seats than your plan includes, the owner can add them one at a time at the price in the table. See [Manage your plan](/billing/manage-your-plan).

## Paying yearly

Yearly billing charges ten months for twelve. That is £490 a year for Starter, £990 for Growth and £1,990 for Business. Extra seats are priced the same way: ten months' price for the year.

## What happens at a plan limit

Nothing is switched off. You keep everything you have, and you cannot add more of that one thing until something changes:

* **Seats.** You cannot invite another person until you add a seat or remove a member.
* **WhatsApp numbers.** You cannot connect another number.
* **Published forms.** A new form template is saved as a draft instead of being submitted.
* **Workflows.** You cannot switch another one on until you pause one.
* **Integrations.** You cannot connect another until you disconnect one.
* **Broadcast reach.** A broadcast that would go past the month's reach cannot be sent until the month turns or the plan changes.

The message you see says which limit you have reached and which plan raises it.
